Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains what LinkBounty collects, why, and your choices.

What we collect

When you log in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar, and the list of servers you can manage. For servers where the bot is active, we store the server's ID and name, your Amazon Associates tag, your channel and reply settings, and notification preferences. When someone shares an Amazon link, we record the product identifier (ASIN), the resulting affiliate link, the sharer's Discord ID and display name, and a timestamp — this is what powers your analytics.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: converting links with your tag, showing your analytics, notifying you of shares, and keeping you logged in. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Affiliate links

The bot adds your Amazon Associates tag to product links. Purchases made through those links may earn you a commission from Amazon, at no extra cost to the buyer. LinkBounty does not receive your purchase or earnings data — that lives in your Amazon Associates account.

Service providers

We rely on third parties to operate, including Discord (login and bot platform), our cloud hosting provider (where the app and database run), and Amazon (where links point). Your data is processed by these providers only as needed to run the service.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Retention and your choices

You can delete all data for a server at any time using the "Disconnect & delete data" button on that server's dashboard page, which removes the bot and permanently erases its settings and analytics. You can also email us to request deletion of your data.

Children

LinkBounty is intended for users who meet Discord's minimum age requirement (13+, or older where required). It is not directed at children.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
