Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By adding LinkBounty to a Discord server or using its dashboard, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What LinkBounty does

LinkBounty is a Discord bot and dashboard that converts Amazon product links shared in your server into links carrying your own Amazon Associates tag, so commissions go to you. It also shows you activity analytics. LinkBounty is not affiliated with Amazon or Discord.

3. Your responsibilities and Amazon Associates compliance

LinkBounty simply inserts your own Amazon Associates tag into links shared in your server. You — not LinkBounty — are the Amazon Associate. LinkBounty never receives your commissions and is not a party to your relationship with Amazon. You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining your own valid Amazon Associates account in good standing and providing an accurate affiliate tag.
  • Complying with the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement and Program Policies at all times — including required disclosures, the rules on where and how affiliate links may be used, and registering your Discord server as a venue/site with Amazon where required.
  • Complying with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement and disclosure rules, and any equivalent laws where you operate. LinkBounty automatically adds a short affiliate disclosure to each link as a convenience, but you remain responsible for ensuring your use is fully compliant.
  • Complying with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and only configuring the bot in servers you are authorized to manage.
  • The accuracy, legality, and compliance of all links and content shared through your server.

Amazon pays commissions directly to your account. You acknowledge that Amazon and Discord may suspend or terminate your account, or withhold commissions, for reasons within their sole control. LinkBounty has no control over and accepts no responsibility for those decisions, including any suspension, termination, or loss of commissions affecting you.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use LinkBounty for unlawful purposes, to spam, to harass, or to circumvent Amazon's or Discord's rules. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

5. Plans and billing

LinkBounty is a paid service offered on monthly or annual plans, with a free trial at sign-up. After the trial, your selected plan is billed automatically according to the pricing shown at sign-up unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Availability and "as is"

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or any particular level of earnings.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkBounty and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost commissions, arising from your use of the service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and remove the bot and delete your data from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
